SUCCESS STORIES
We proudly call ourselves SoftConstruct. From the very first day, Soft’s approach to business has always been atypical - daring, non-stop, creative and bold. Our work is determined by creative chaos. We are chaotic and we love it.
Rafael Kobalyan
Head of Technology | VBET
Armenia
So many positions within six years! You had a fantastic journey and ensured career growth. When did it start?
I have really had an exciting career pathway. All this started six years ago when I was a student deeply in love with information technologies since childhood.
So, the Company gave me a chance to try myself as a Customer Support operator while being an Informatics and Applied Mathematics student. Shortly afterwards, I was immensely captured by the gambling industry and its fast-growing dynamics, leading to my current position and growth.
After two years of proper involvement in Customer Support, I got an offer to join the newly-formed VBET Team as a Technical Project Manager. Here too, I had a quick jump onto the next career ladder with a new opportunity of leading the team I had joined recently. This was my first and most fascinating experience of heading a small team of Technical Project Management. Later on, I have promoted the Head of Project Management. Currently, as the VBET Head of Technology, I lead three large teams - Monitoring/QA, Project Management, and Product Content Management.
Rimma Markaryan
B2B Support Specialist\Incident Manager
Armenia
You joined our creative family a year ago and are already going on with
two positions; how do you manage them?
My first position was as a B2B Support Specialist in the B2B Department. Soon I also joined the Quality Monitoring Department as a QM specialist. Later I got an offer from VBET's Project Management Department and became their Incident Manager (Senior Specialist). Working in the B2B only night shifts every two days, I realized I had enough time to try my hand at something else.
Hossein Tajfirouz
Software Engineer
Iran
From Iran to Armenia. How did you start your journey here?
I started working as an English-Persian Translator in 2020. After almost one year and a half, I became a software engineer. Now I work on a translation-oriented product as the lead software engineer."
Aleksandr Amelin
Junior QA Engineer
Russia
How did you appear in this crazy and chaotic innovative world?
I discovered Soft in one of the meet-ups for IT people. I was obsessed when I heard about the company's history and sphere of activities. The cognitive tour at Soft and meeting with the management staff were amazing. Two weeks later, I joined Soft's family. It's my first experience working in an international company and a global environment. Before moving to Armenia, I was leading my project in Russia. My projects were close to the IT sphere, but SoftConstruct is an entirely different level with a different scale.
Vahagn Stepanyan
UI/UX designer
Armenia
From bartender to UI/UX designer. You have a great story to tell. We are
all ears.
In the Summer of 2017, I saw the bartender's vacancy in the company. I applied
and was hired as a bartender. That was the beginning. I found myself surrounded by diverse and interesting people. Their positive impact motivated me to learn a new profession. Soon I started my UI/UX design courses. Here, I've
understood how important it is to appear in the right place at the right time.
